BIOMORPHITÄTEN // In the title of my solo exhibition lies the attempt to gather the first creative results under an art word that gives the intuitive and process-oriented work a language. The individual works get Latin names, emotional states or are called like plants. The cosmos of corporealities is for me a field of activity in which I can combine a sensual suggestiveness and creative abilities. The preoccupation with the human body, with its form and texture, is a central starting point. Interrelated aspects of the physical move me to achieve an identical effect in the object through their properties. The focus was on experimental procedures from the mold and cast construction and the processing of linen with wax and pigments. Always a metal framework carries the body. I am inspired by materials formed by nature and found objects, but also modalities determined by chance. These sources of inspiration lead me to biomorphic structures, organ-like Aus-/ Umstülpungen and seemingly self-organizing figures.
